Kate Sanford is an American motion picture editor. She edited the first, second, third, fourth, & fifth seasons of The Wire. She has worked on The Wire creator David Simon's other series Treme. Kate has been active since 1994 and has also worked on the HBO series Sex and the City and Boardwalk Empire, as well as the films Brooklyn Rules, O, and Management.
