George Smith is a Major in the Baltimore Police Department.

Season 3Edit

Smith replaces Raymond Foerster as the commander of the Narcotics Unit when Foerster is promoted to Colonel and Criminal Investigations Division commander.

Major Howard Colvin of the Western District approaches Smith for help pursuing drug organizations. He finds Smith's records a disappointingly slim collection of rap sheets. Smith tells him there is no one looking at high end drug cases because Deputy Commissioner Rawls is directing their efforts to street work.[1]

George Smith is a minor character in the third season. He is played uncredited by an unidentified performer and only appears in "Straight and True".
