Corey Parker Robinson, born February 9, 1975, is an American actor. He stars Detective Leander Sydnor in The Wire. Robinson appeared as a recurring guest star throughout the first season. He was absent for the second season but then joined the starring cast for the third season onwards. He also appeared in The Wire creator David Simon's earlier The Corner and Homicide: Life on the Street. He has been active since 1997 and has also appeared in the series ER, The Guiding Light, and Blue Bloods and the films Face (1997) and Unstoppable (2010).
