Chris Collins is an American television writer and producer. He is a writer and script co-ordinator for The Wire. He joined the crew as a script co-ordinator for the third season in 2004. He became a staff writer in addition to his script co-ordinator duties for the fourth season in 2006. He was promoted to story editor for the fifth and final season in 2008. He wrote the teleplay for the episode "Not For Attribution" from a story he co-wrote with show runner David Simon.

He has also worked on the HBO drama The Sopranos. He was an executive story editor for the Starz drama series Crash. He is a producer and writer for the FX series Sons of Anarchy.
