Anwan Glover, born May 5, 1975 in Washington DC, USA, is an actor. He stars as Slim Charles in the third, fourth, & fifth seasons. He is the front man of the DC based Backyard Band. He also worked with The Wire creator David Simon on his subsequent series Treme and The Deuce. In Treme Glover had a recurring role in the first season as Keevon White, an incarcerated criminal who attempts to switch identities with a fellow prisoner during Hurricane Katrina. In The Deuce Glover stars as Leon, the chef and manager of a neighbourhood bar and grill.
